Control and Surveillance

Through our projects we seek to achieve continuity and improve the control and protection of the natural protected areas by providing infrastructure, equipment and maintenance such as training and patrol support.

BMUB Project
This project is part of the International Climate Initiative (IKI). The Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB) supports this initiative on the basis of a decision adopted by the German Bundestag. The FZS Peru has been responsible for implementing the BMUB project in collaboration with SERNANP, municipal and district governments since 2013.

Purus - Manu Conservation Corridor

The Purus - manu Conservation Corridor Project provides long-term support for the preservation of biodiversity on behalf of the local communities and indigenous groups living in voluntary isolation that inhabit the region.

 The FZS Peru seeks to support, strengthen and implement activities for the effective management of the protected areas.

Heath Project

The “Conservation and Sustainable Tourism in the Heath River Basin” project proposes to strengthen management of the protected areas as a combined strategy for conservation activities such as monitoring, protection and management of natural resources, in addition to the introduction of ecotourism as a long-term, sustainable activity.

The project "Strengthening the Management System and Monitoring and Control of the Reserved Zone of Yaguas" is implementing a strategy for the conservation of the Yaguas river basin for the effective protection of its ecosystems and high biodiversity, through the strengthening of the Control of SERNANP.
